7 Students of UMMI Will Conduct International KKN-PPL in Thailand

ummi.ac.id – International Office of UMMI, again, sent students to conduct International KKN-PPL program in Thailand. A total of 7 students from 4 different departments, Bahasa Indonesia Education Department, Agricultural Business Department, Biology Education Department and Informatics Engineering Department departed on 31st October 2017. They will be conducting International Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) and Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) in 3 different schools in Thailand for 2 months, from 2nd November to 27th Desember 2017.

Release ceremony was held and attended by Rector of UMMI, Dr. Sakti Alamsyah, M.Pd., Vice Rector I, Vice Rector II, Head and Secretary of LPPM, Dean of FKIP, Head of Department of Biology Education, Bahasa Indonesia Education, Agricultural Business and Informatics Engineering. The parents were also invited to the event.

The head of International Office of UMMI, Dr. Saprudin, M.Hum, said that the current KKN-PPL in Thailand is the second delivery. He said that this is an implementation of the cooperation between UMMI and Nirandonwitya School, Narathiwat.

“In the future, International Office of UMMI will not only deliver students abroad, but also receive foreign students to study in UMMI or join several international programs. Thanks to Vice Rector I for facilitating and supporting our international programs. UMMI is now attempting to widen the cooperation with  abroad higher education institutions in the academic year of 2017 – 2018.” He said.

In his speech, the Rector of UMMI asked the students not to leaver prayers, socialize with the people and give them good impression.
