International Scientific Discussion event was held by International Office & Language Centre of UMMI. A lot of participants consisting of students and lecturers attended the event. The speakers came from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). They are Prof. Dr. Sukri and Mr. Mohd Ali Ibrahim. The discussion was focusing on reputable international journal publication, development of science and its implications. It was officially opened by the Rector of UMMI, Dr. Sakti Alamsyah, M.Pd.
